Yul asked his mom about their next step. She told him that all must be done according to the Laws and regulations. They must wait.

At the palace, Chae-Gyung wanted to ride the horse without permission from the instructor. The palace maid had warned her but she didn't listen and rode the horse. The horse ran fast and she screamed along the way. The horse almost ran over a woman who just entered the palace. Luckly she's okay. Chae-Gyung stopped the horse and got down. She asked her if she's okay and commented on the way she dressed so casually. Suddenly Officer Kong came and greeted the woman. She's Shin elder sister, Princess Hae-Myung. All the people in palace welcomed her warmly, especially Shin. They ignored Chae-Gyung completely.

Hae-Myung told about her trips to Shin and Great-Queen. She envied her so much. Then the Queen arrived and she hugged and called her 'mother'. Queen warned her about her calling. But she ignored her and hugged her again.

Hye Jung and co held a meeting in a restaurant to gather more supports. She also got some romance pictures of Prince in Bangkok.

At the palace, the King couldn't sleep well. The Queen served him some tea and advised him to not think so much. The King felt guilty toward his dead brother and he wanted to do something to him. The Queen told him if it would make him feel better, she would agree to him.

Chae-Gyung went to see Shin in his bed room.
CG: "Knock, knock. What are you doing, Shin Goon? Today's a bit cold, huh? Even though I ate some medicine for cold, it's too cold. [sneeze]. Your room's warm, unlike you."
Shin: "Did you come to spread your cold?"
CG: "How could you say something like that?" [sneeze]
Shin: "Want to get in?" [move aside]
CG [shocked]: "What?!"
Shin: "Acting like you're surprised? We've been in the same bed for a few days. why are you still pretending to be shy? This has coal stones mattress under it, so it's warm."

CG: "But still! Then, let me be impolite for once? Excuse me. [get in] This is so warm! This is good. But... I heard this somewhere... but Was I supposed to get married to Yul?"
Shin: "Grandfather's promise was to arrange a marriage with you and the next prince to be king. The crown grandson wasn't me but Yul at that time. You were only his future wife for a period of time."
CG: "I see. After hearing that, I'm a bit embarrassed to face him."
Shin [closed the book was reading]: "Why? Are you regretting now? If it's so regretful, why don't you just..."
Chae-Gyung already fell asleep. Shin fixed her blanket and caressed her hair. He's about to kiss her forehead when he heard the Queen's voice.

The Queen entered and was surprised to see Chae-Gyung there. She asked her what she was doing there. Shin replied that it's their private life. The Queen raised her voice commenting that Shin wasn't qualified to answer her like that. Then she asked Chae-Gyung to go out of the room. She quickly nodded and ran outside.

The Queen smacked the newspaper to the table. Shin picked and read it. He's surprised to see the news of him and Hyo Rin spending time together in Thailand. After that the Queen left him with anger. Chae-Gyung peeked from her room and saw the Queen leaving. Quickly she went in again to Shin's room.
CG [get the newspaper]: "What is this? Were you two in Thailand together? This isn't true, right?"
Shin: ""Do I need to tell you everything?"
CG: "I'm just curious."
Shin: "You don't need to know."
CG: "What? I can't ask you questions like these? So I don't have the right to ask?"
Shin: "You don't have to worry about this. Take care of your health instead of trying to find out silly stuff."
CG: "You don't have to worry if I'm sick or not. I'm very healthy. So don't be concerned."
Shin: "You're healthy you said?!? Do you know how you made everyone worried??? What's the problem?! What is so wrong that you can't even eat properly!?!"
CG: "You don't need to know why I'm suffering."
Shin: "What?!"
CG: "You don't even let me ask you about this picture. So, don't matter whether I die from starvation or not."
Shin: "Shin Chaegyung! You!"
CG: "I'm so stupid. Without knowing that you were having fun with Hyorin, I... I was waiting for you, not being able to sleep. I feel really stupid."

Yul confirmed to his mom about the newspaper thing. He's very worried about Chae-Gyung.

The next day at school, all students already read the news and rumoured around. Kang Hyung asked Chae-Gyung if she's okay. With pale face, Chae-Gyung replied that she's okay, only a bit tired. Later, Chae-Gyung met Hyo Rin and asked her to talk. The others saw them and spread to other students that Chae-Gyung and Hyo Rin had the battle. Yul decided to take a look, while Shin still sat on his chair.

Watching by other students, Chae-Gyung talked with Hyo Rin.
CG: "You must be in such a bad position. Aren't your parents saying something about this? You just met him while you went there. Everybody has been spreading exaggerated rumors, so... I think my friends misunderstood. So anyways, what I'm trying to say is that, while you were on your way..."
HR: "Your "coincidence" theory is incorrect.I went to Thailand to meet Shin, purposely. In Korea, you both husband and wife are always together, so I can't say whatever I wanted to say. There's a lot of things I want to say to him but after the marriage, it became rather difficult."
CG: "But we're the ones who got married first."
HR: "You might be the one who obtain the marriage first, but the one who first received a proposal and was liked... It's me, Min Hyorin."
CG: "Since it's already like that, why are you saying this now?"
HR: "Because I don't want to be known as the old Min Hyorin. Like a fool, I lost my love.
Things like these, it's enough for it to happen once. I don't know how well you two get along
but it seems that he embraces my presence pretty well."
CG: "What did you say?"
HR: "Saying these things in front of you makes me feel like a mistress."
CG: "What? How can you phrased it like that? What're you talking about?"
HR: "I am not interested in the position of the Crown Princess. To me, I am contented if I have Shin."
CG [felt dizzy]: "Sorry. Let's talk some other time... Now.. my body...."
Chae-Gyung collapsed. Yul ran to her and shake her body try to wake her up. Then Shin appeared and asked them to move away. He carried her to the car and went straight to the palace. Hyo Rin and Yul could only watch. Hyo Rin felt insecure to the fact that Shin didn't even look at her.

Shin took care of Chae-Gyung until her fever dropped down.

Princess Hae-Myung asked him to chat while Chae-Gyung sleeping. She asked him about Hyo Rin. Shin replied he'd proposed but got rejected. Then she asked how about Chae-Gyung. Shin commented that she's an exceptional girl, at first he thought she would be a perfect puppet in the palace, but later it seemed that the palace that adapted to her. Princess Hae-Myung then asked if Shin had already liked her. Shin replied haltingly that it's an arranged marriage after all.

Yul came to visit. He went to Chae-Gyung while Shin wasn't there. He heard Chae Gyung was delirious calling her mom. He felt sad. Then Chae-Gyung opened her eyes and saw him standing there with a mint plant on his hands. Chae-Gyung asked him to go outside to have some fresh air. Yul wanted her to not fall sick anymore, because he felt hurt whenever CG's hurt.

Shin went to her room and only saw the mint plan. He quickly went to the porch and saw the two there. He dragged Chae-Gyung in saying she must drink her medecin. He asked Yul if he's really concerned about his wife. *jealousy start to fill in, yay*

Hye Jung proposed the idea of the mourning King to The Great Queen. She said she would consider it. With the help of the old maid persuaded the Great Queen, it seemed that Hye-Jung proposal would be granted.

Shin was waiting beside Chae-Gyung while she slept. When she woke up, he asked if she wanted to eat something. Chae-Gyung refused and Shin became more worried. Then her parents came in. Chae-Gyung quickly got up and hugged them. Shin left them alone. Dad brought her favorit dishes. Immediately she ate the food like he hadn't eaten for weeks.

CG parents requested to Shin to allow them bringing Chae-Gyung back home. Shin refused eventough the Queen had already agreed. Chae-Gyung heard them from her room. When Shin came into her room, she threw the pillow to him angrily.
CG: "You bad guy! Who are you to speak to my parents like that? They pleaded with you because they care about me. How can you say such things to them?"
Shin: "Things that cannot be done, it's better to give up earlier. For someone like you, if you go back once, you'll be thinking of getting out when you are having a difficult time again. That will be only giving me more trouble. That's why I won't allow it."
CG: "Allow? Why does everything I do has to be approved by you? Aren’t you living the way you want to? You can meet whoever you want to meet."
Shin: "Are you asking because you really don't know? It seems that you have a misunderstanding. The life in the palace and life outside the palace are two different world. Outside the palace, male and female may call for equality but you are living here.. Everything from the architecture to the decorations, are immersed in the midst of tradition. And according to tradition, the wife has to obey the husband completely, understand? Remember to eat on time."
CG: "Such a bad... bad guy."

Shin came back to his room. He closed the door and leaned on the door. He said to himself: "If I allow you to leave... you will for sure... won't be returning here again."

Yul told his mom that their plan was proceeding too fast. He wasn't ready yet. He also said that the timing isn't right and asked her to delay it for a while. He would takeover the throne from Shin personally when the time has come.

Shin sat next to Chae-Gyung at the porch
Shin: "Oi health nutrient, you look a bit better now. I heard you asked for your mom in your sleep. Oi. It's now my turn to hold you as hostage. Every time you think about going home, I also wanted to allow you to. But, the status as a Crown Princess is much too special so I can't allow it. It's because I want to secure my position as a Crown Prince. At least during this period of time, I do not want to go down in history as a useless Crown Prince."
CG: "What do you mean? During this period?"
Shin: "This is going to happen one or two years from now."
CG: "What?"
Shin: "I will give up the position of the Crown Prince."
